UNDERSTAND YOUR HEALTH PLAN
Ruthanne Fitton,Union Health Secretary

Did you know?
If you carry dependents up to 23 years of age who are full time students, make sure your Health Secretary gets a letter from the school every Fall and Spring.
If you are in a car accident and receive medical care, and if you have UNITE  HERE medical insurance, call Blue Cross and tell them you were in a car accident.  They can set up a special account for you.
It is cheaper to mail away for maintenance medications / prescription drugs you take every day, all year, than to go to the drug store for them.
Always show your Blue Cross card when you go to the doctor, hospital, or for tests, even if you have been there before.
Always let the union know if you change your address, so we can inform Blue Cross and the Pension Fund
